Best Fitbit Apps (My Top 6 Choices!)

You can get the most out of your new Fitbit with the best apps. Fitbit Sense 2, Versa 4, Sense, and Versa 3 are among the trackers that allow you to install third-party apps of your choice.

There are so many apps that you can install on your Fitbit, that choosing which ones to use becomes challenging for some. To make things easier for users, I have decided to share the apps I have used on my Fitbit, which I think are excellent and worth trying! After that, I will provide steps for adding apps to your Fitbit.

Without further ado, here are the apps you need to try on your Fitbit smartwatch today.

6 Apps You Can Download and Use On Your Fitbit for Free!

1. Spotify Connect and Control

Fitbit stopped supporting the Spotify app. Therefore, I can neither stream nor play offline music on my fitness tracker. However, this doesn’t mean the app is not available in the Fitbit Gallery, I visited Gallery, downloaded the app, and used it to control the songs playing in the Spotify app on my paired phone.

Spotify Connect and Control is convenient when I’m working out and don’t want to reach for my phone in my pocket to skip, pause, or stop a song.

If you want to start controlling songs on your phone from the wrist consider adding the Spotify Connect and Control app to your watch.

Fortunately, I paid nothing to use the Spotify Connect and Control app because it is currently free to download and use.

2. C25K Trainer

I enjoy running and, because of that, I had to find the best running app. After conducting my research, I came up with a list of the 5 best running apps, and the C25K Trainer app was one of them. I liked this running app because it assured me that it could turn me from a couch potato into a good runner within 2 months.

Every day, the app starts my training with warm-up exercises to prepare my muscles for the day’s running workout. I appreciate how the app displays important information, such as the calories I’ve burned, the distance I’ve covered running, and other summarized metrics.

I encourage you to add this app to your Fitbit if you’re a beginner at running. The C25K Trainer will not only make you a great runner, but it will also help you improve your health and strength over time.

The C25K Trainer app is free, and as a result, you don’t want to miss out on what the app has to offer.

3. SpO2 Tracker

I keep good track of my health and whenever I notice a problem I report to the doctor for advice.

Last month, I wanted to keep track of my blood oxygen level so I visited Fitbit Gallery and added the SpO2 Tracker app on my smartwatch.

With this health app, I can track my blood oxygen while asleep and sync the data collected when I wake up.

The app tracks Blood oxygen even when I haven’t selected the SpO2 watch face.

If you want a Blood oxygen monitor app that is free to use, consider the SpO2 Tracker app.

You pay nothing to get and use SpO2 Tracker because currently, it is available to Fitbit users for free.

4. Starbucks Card

Starbucks Card is yet another great app I have tried on my Fitbit smartwatch. This third-party application had me add my Starbucks Card, and after that, I could pay for Starbucks coffee from my wrist. For this reason, I didn’t have to carry my Starbucks Card to the Starbucks coffee shop every morning.

Keep in mind that you can only use the app for a single coffee shop chain. If you want a similar app that doesn’t limit the shops you can buy from, consider Barcodes.

The Starbucks app is free to download from the Fitbit Gallery, but you will need to add your Starbucks Card to it to start using it.

5. Uber by Fitbit

I have a car, but sometimes I like being driven around in taxis. Spotting a taxi in my area is not always possible, so I installed the Uber app for easy access to taxi or cab services.

Initially, I got the app on my phone but later realized that Fitbit had added a version compatible with some of its watches in the Fitbit Gallery, which I ended up adding to my watch.

With Uber, I can request rides. In the app and from my Fitbit, I can view details, including the star rating, the estimated time it will take to reach my destination, and the cost of the ride.

Unfortunately, the app does not allow me to change the destination from the watch. Instead, I have to use the Uber app on my iPhone to make that change.

Like most of the apps on this list, the Uber app is free to download on Fitbit. However, the rides are not free, and I need to pay for them to get to my destination.

6. Water Logged

Water is important! It affects our health and fitness. Doctors recommend drinking at least 7 glasses of water daily for a healthy lifestyle.

I wanted to track how much water I consume daily, so I installed the Water Logged app on my Fitbit tracker.

I can easily add the bottles and glasses of water I consume in the app. If I know the exact amount, I can add it directly to my total. The data is synced and added to my Fitbit account, where I can view it all.

Water Logged is a free app available in the Gallery, so you don’t have to pay to use it.
