Pandora on Fitbit (Fitbit No Longer Supports Pandora!)

Fitbit Sense, Versa 2, and Versa 3 could stream and play locally stored music files before March 31st, 2023. However, the introduction of the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 changed this, as these newer watches, together with the earlier watches, could no longer support music streaming from apps, including Pandora Spotify, and Deezer. In addition, the internal storage was also removed, meaning that Fitbit watches cannot store music for offline listening. As a result, it is no longer possible to play Pandora on a Fitbit watch.

What is Pandora?

Pandora is one of the best music apps. With the app installed on a supported device, you can stream and discover music.

In the app, you’ll create a station based on your favorite songs, artists, and genres. After creating the station, the app will find songs with qualities that match your settings aNd introduce them to your station.

Using Pandora on Fitbit was enjoyable, but that is no longer the case because the Fitbit OS ceased to support it.

Does Fitbit Sense and Versa Have Pandora?

Earlier, watches in the Fitbit Sense and Versa Series supported the Pandora app and this allowed users to download Pandora stations to their watches.

However, after March 31st, 2023, Fitbit discontinued support for Pandora, and Deezer, among other music apps. This means that as a Fitbit user, you can no longer access or use the Pandora app on your watch.

Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the latest Fitbit smartwatches, including Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4, do not come with the music app pre-installed and are not compatible with it. This means that a Fitbit user you’ll need to look for alternative music apps or streaming services to use.

What Happened to Pandora on Fitbit Sense and Versa?

As stated, Pandora can no longer be accessed on Fitbit. Just a theory, I think Google wants to boost the sales of its watch, the Google Pixel watch, which supports installation and the use of apps like Pandora. So, they had to discontinue the support of a few things on Fitbit watches. Again, this is just a theory.

What Music Apps Can I Get On My Fitbit Versa or Sense?

If you have a Versa 2, Versa 3, Versa 4, Sense, or Sense 2, you may be wondering what music app to use since Pandora doesn’t work on these devices. Currently, you can only use the Spotify Control app on your Sense or Versa to control music playing on the Spotify app on your phone. It’s important to note that you cannot stream or play offline music on your Fitbit Versa or Sense with the Spotify Music app: you can only control the Spotify music playing on your phone.

What Watches Are Compatible With Pandora?

Just because Fitbit watches no longer support the Pandora app, it doesn’t mean all watches won’t support Pandora. There are many other watch brands out there that do support Pandora, such as the Apple Watch, Garmin Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, Xiaomi Mi Band, and many others. So, if you’re looking for an alternative to Fitbit, there are plenty of options available to consider.

Final Thoughts

Fitbit Watches such as Fitbit Sense and Versa no longer support the Pandora app. This means that users can’t set up, use, sync, or download Pandora Stations on their Fitbit Watches.

As a result, if you want to use Pandora on your next smartwatch, you should consider buying an Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin Watch, or Google Pixels Watch instead of a Fitbit Watch, these alternatives support the Pandora app and can play music smoothly. That’s all for today I hope this guide was helpful!
